The reality is contrary to that! Imam Sajjad (A) actively performed his responsibilities as an Infallible Imam and was hence poisoned by the enemies of Islam. Just like other Imams, he became a serious threat for the oppressors and they had no other option to poison and martyr our Imam.
The Leader, Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei, highlights some of those divine duties performed by Imam Sajjad (A).
